Summer Guitar Course for Teenagers
This course is a special introductory 6 week course especially designed for teenagers
to provide a brief and fun introduction to the guitar and the world of music.
Courses cater for complete beginners and improvers.
The Summer Guitar School kicks off this year as follows:
Thursdays 01st July – 05th August 11.30-12.30am €120 (Beginners)
Fridays 02nd July to 06th August 11.30-12.30am €120 (Improvers)
Details of where to purchase can be provided by Abbey School (Ask for Kevin)
As classes are limited it is advised to book early to ensure a space.
Course content includes song accompaniment, chord progressions, rhythm, strummimg,
fingerstyles, theory and scale work, giving each student a broad understanding of the instrument.
Kevin Robinson, Teacher
Kevin Robinson has 15 years of Music Teaching and performing experience.
He has expanded his own teaching methodologies after training with master teachers
Pat Fagan and Leslie Cassidy from the College of Music, Dublin.
He has performed regularly on live radio, and various venues in Ireland and abroad,
and holds a performance diploma from the London College of Music.
