Eimear has a Bachelor of Music (honours) with a major in Irish Traditional Music from DIT. She has extensive experience performing at home and abroad and has been successful at provincial and All Ireland level at the Fleadh Cheoil (traditional music competition).
Eimear has been teaching private and group flute and tin whistle lessons for the past five years. She teaches children and adults at a beginner to advanced level of playing. Besides teaching Irish traditional tunes and all the elements of traditional music (ornamentation,variation etc), Eimear likes to pay attention to tone production, breath control and uses various exercises to help in the process.
Eimear is available to take private or group classes of up to four people for the traditional flute and tin whistle. For more information:
