Advanced Courses in 2012: In 2012 the two most popular advanced course options will be returning: 6-month part-time Actor Training and 12 week Adult Advanced Scene Study and course. (Both of courses require an audition/interview process). Some more details on the advanced courses are available below. ADULT ADVANCED SCENE STUDY- (12-weeks) (AUDITIONING NOW!!)
Admission into the Adult Advanced Scene Study class is by audition/interview, and is for the serious student interested in furthering his or her level of work, either for deeper exploration of the acting process or for possible professional persuit. The FINAL ROUND of auditions will take place on Thursday, 6:00-10:00pm February 16th, 2012 by appointment. Additional appointments may be made individually if you are unable to attend.
Course content will cover voice and body work, improvisation and intensive scene work culminating in a performance. The
final week of class is TWO presentation nights in the New Theatre in Temple Bar, Dublin, and constists of prepared 5-10 minute scenes from published plays and an improvisation series. Due to the content of this course the participants MUST be
committed to working with scene partners, and must be willing to work beyond the alloted class time.

COURSE#23: ADVANCED ADULT SCENE STUDY
DATES: Wednesdays, 7:00-9:30pm, April 11th-June 29th 2012
PERFORMANCE DATES: 8:00pm THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, June 28th & 29th, 2012. (must be available Thursday June 28th day for rehearsal)
FEE: €410 (Deposit of €150 due at time of acceptance into class, balance of €260 due March 28th, two weeks prior to start of class)

6-MONTH PART-TIME ACTOR TRAINING January 17th through June 27th 2012
FINAL ROUND of auditions for this course are completed and the class is filled for this year. After the three previous years of highly successful productions in this course, we are offering it again in 2012. This course is the most comprehensive advance course that we currently offer, and is for the
experienced advanced student by
audition/interviews. Classes will run
Tuesday nights, 6:30-9:00pm and will be held at the LAB on Foley Street with a "Midterm" performance at the Pearse Centre Theatre and three "End of Term Presentation" performances at
The New Theatre, Temple Bar. This class will be limited to 14 students maximum, and will be taught primarily by
Kathleen Warner Yeates, but with additional tuition and direction other highly qualified guest instructors affiliated with the school.
The highest level of commitment is needed to participate in this course as students will be expected to work outside the allotted class times and additional rehearsals will be scheduled prior to productions.

FEE: €890,with a non-refundable deposit of €350 required within a week of being accepted into the class, balance of €540 must be paid in full two weeks prior to the start of class. NO ACCEPTIONS.
