The Oireachtas is the Irish Parliament. The constitution of 1937 says that the Oireachtas shall consist of a President and two Houses: Dáil Éireann and Seanad Eireann. By law, a General Election to Dáil Éireann must be held at least once every five years. For electoral purposes, the country is divided into areas known as constituencies, each of which elects either three, four or five Members. Under the Constitution there must be at least one Member for every 20,000 to 30,000 people and at present there are 166 Members representing 41 constituencies.

The graphic below illustrates the current Dáil but when you click through to the results, only deputies sitting within the Dublin constituencies will be shown.
