From Budapest to Brussels, from London to Lisbon, millions of people will be participating in events across Europe to celebrate European Neighbours Day on the 28h of May. And in Dublin it will be no different with activities taking place around the City over a week long period.
Through the Community Development Section, residents have been encouraged to host a wide variety of events to celebrate goodwill, reduce barriers of isolation and develop a better sense of community in our neighbourhoods

| ‘Let’s Walk & Talk – Finglas: An Historic & Connected Place’ |

Venue:Meet at Finglas Civic Centre Date: Friday 28th May Time: 11.00am. Meet at Finglas Civic Centre. To follow the tour, the Finglas Area Office will also be hosting a traditional music session and providing refreshments at Finglas Youth Resource Centre. There will also be various information stands on display at the centre, which will promote services for older people. |

Venue: Macro Centre Date: Friday 28th May Time:: daytime Macro Senior Citizens will be holding a Drop in Day, serving Tea/Coffee and promoting ‘be a good neighbour’. |
