ALL IN!

Summer Programme for Children and Young People
in Dublin City Libraries

Dublin City Public Libraries have organised an action packed programme of events for children for Summer ’09. The programme entitled ‘ALL IN!’ will give children an opportunity to try something new. From astronomy to chess, art to photography workshops, there’s something for everyone!dcpl summer in dublin programme

For animal lovers Coco the dog and her owner Jillian Saunders from Dogs Trust and Niall Hatch from Birdwatch Ireland will visit branch libraries throughout the city.

The Catholic Guides of Ireland and The Irish Girl Guides will run taster days in several branches, where participants will be given an opportunity to pitch a tent and take part in crafts and games.

For the actors and singers in our midst, Musical Theatre Workshops run by Katie Carpenter are a must! Teenagers are also well catered for with songwriting and manga drawing workshops available in some branch libraries. It’s certainly all happening in Dublin City Libraries this summer! So go on, get down to your local branch library!
