 How can I add an event to the Events Calender?
Solution Once you log on to the site, you can click on Events, on the right hand side of the page. This will bring you into the Events Calendar.

Note: Only people with an account on dublin.ie can add events to the calender.



Steps when adding an event:

1. Select "Add an Event" at the top of the page.
2. This brings you into a page where you can fill in details about the event, such as the name of the event, a brief description, a location, etc.
3. Next, select a category from the List (eg: Entertainment, Environment etc.)
4. It is very important to select a date/dates for the event(s). Click the drop down menu to select a day,month and year.
5. You must also remember to add details about the location including the name of the venue and it's address.
6. Times must also be entered for the event if possible.
7. When all details have been added, you can click Add Event at the bottom of the screen.
8. Your event will be submitted to the calender pending approval by the administrator.
