General Health

General Health 'Your health is your wealth'

Adopting a healthy and active approach to living will benefit all citizens in Dublin. An active lifestyle and proper diet combined together, directly leads to better health. Health may be defined as a complete state of physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of sickness. The health and well being of our citizens is a key factor for a higher standard of living. There is an urgent need to improve the way people treat their bodies in terms of health. At present, a lot of hospital beds are taken up with patients who have smoking related illnesses. Therefore, encouraging people to take responsibility for their own physical and mental well being should be a top priority for all agencies dealing with health care in Dublin.
