ExcercisingIt is estimated that 6 out of 10 adults in Ireland are not taking enough exercise to remain healthy. Exercise and physical activity is very important for keeping a healthy heart and blood pressure, as well as not smoking, eating healthy and managing cholesterol levels. Exercise can also help reduce stress. It is recommended that every adult should partake in at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day. This can be in the simple form of walking, jogging cycling or playing sports. Some easy tips for exercising could be, walking to work/school instead of driving, or even, parking further away from work or getting off the bus a few stops early.
