Cancer
Cancer is a disorder that can occur inside any cell in our body. It is a mistake in the genetic code of the cell, (the DNA), which causes the cell to grow without control. The diagnosis of cancer is made after a number of clinical tests have been performed. These tests can include visual inspection, an x-ray and blood tests. Treatment for the cancer will depend on the type of cancer diagnosed. There are over 200 types of cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer and skin cancer.
