Active for all Ages

People mainly think that exercise is a great way of keeping physically fit and healthy, as well as staying in shape. However, there are a lot more benefits to keeping fit. Exercise is a great way to help the elderly fight and even overcome certain diseases. Physical health can help to combat arthritis, high blood pressure and obesity. Mental exercise is a good way to ward of diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Stephenson's Disease. As well as exercising, the elderly also need to control their food intake. Fresh fruit and vegetables provide essential vitamins and minerals, needed for strong bones, healthy skin and a good immune system.
