    No offence took,Paddy.
You`re dead-right my Denmark St Tech was Not to one being referred to in the initial post so there`s the crossed x`s !

Am I right in thinking that Chapel Lane was more or less opposite Noyeks on Parnell St ?

I would`nt say The Denmark St Tech was a higher end school at all though,as most of its lads came from around the North City Centre.
    Domnick St,Kings-Inns Street,Dorset St,Gardiner St,Church St,Constitution Hill,Phibsboro,North Strand and the likes of me flown in from far-flung Glasnevin !!!!

Mind you,as Belvedere College was right next-door you could say we probably were guilty by association !

Some of the names I remember,in no particular order...

    Joe Mulvaney.
    Jimmy Winston
    John Watson.
    Owen Smith.
    Thomas Doran
    Patrick Convey
    Joey O Brien

    Teachers..

    Gerry Lanigan (Headmaster)
Paddy Kooney (The software wont let me spell his name correctly ???)
    Mr Savage
    Mr Davis (Sammy)
    Miss (Ma) Byrne
    Miss Grey

The caretakers name was D`Arcy and he had a helper called Tommy.
