Tolka lad God bless ya, but the temp is down here also, no no snow TG it came 10 inches to a foot. But it went fast its the floods it make melting so fast. Cancies That was a great school like o'Connellys. Gerry Higgins and Tony Doyle was in the Cabra Boys Accordian band great mates of mine. They started me out into music game. Gerry Higgins Brother Brian worked in Pendervilles most of his life, all the old woman knew him. Gerry lived on bannow up around Brunswick fackory there. Tolka lad if you have a minute go into Irish showband and beat groups archive.com its all there. J's lad get a good mug of tea you'll be there awhile. 50's 60' 70's 80's Pictures remeber the spotlight with all the info pure lies. but the site is just magic, they also have a jukebox with the old songs on it you can play free. The lad even changes the records on it from time to time. WL

Any of you ever go to the Speedway at Shelbourne Park in the 50s,
The Champion Rider then I believe was Ronnie Moore think he was an Australian. We used to climb the wall to get a look.
We made a dirt track in Annamoe Park for our races.
This would be in late 5os when we made up our bikes out of bits from old bikes.
We used to up the Dublin Mountains to see who was brave enough to go near the Hell Fire Club..The big fellas used to scare us about what went on there..
Mind you we were more scared of the Gangs in Crumlin and Tallagh,we took a deep breath and peddled like mad till we got near Cunningham Road Bus Garage.

Cowboy, the brother and his pals made the 'crocks' too. Bikes with not a tyre on them made from bits. God forbid they rode them down a hill. no brakes
