Louie Bennett [1870-1956] helped to reorganise the IWWU after 1916. She was of the Irish Women’s Reform League and briefly edited the Irish Citizen in 1917. She was general secretary of the IWWU from 1918 until her retirement in 1955. In 1932 she became the first woman president of the ITUC.

Yep. The pic below was originally by me and repeated more recently by Clinto..........it's from the NLI Archive and although I learned the significance of the American Flags at the time,it's gone now,but will have a think.
Here's a rare oul pic of Dev in Arbour Hill.
Arbour Hill Prison Yard 1924 Dev Austin Stack and Keegan.
Bob a Job 1959.
Kennedy motorcade on the streets of Dublin 1963
I've looked through Corbis and the NLI and I haven't found it. For Capel St it looks a bit odd with the buildings crossing at the end and it's looks a bit wide for Capel St unless it's at the top. The kids are all pretty well dressed and all of them bar one have shoes.

Pipe-Major of an Irish regiment (Poss. Royal Irish Rangers?) with two pipers/drummers, the sword goes with the job. Actually, I think the female dancers are from Queens University Belfast Officer Training Corps (OTC) I'm sure I remember them dancing at the Royal Tournament many years ago.
