Free Public WEEE Collection days
Free Public WEEE Collection days across the city have proven to be very popular with householders and in conjunction with Rehab Recycling, the organisation which facilitates these collections days, a schedule for 2011 is currently being drafted. Finalised dates, locations and times for areas across the city are as follows:
- Sat 12th March: from 10am to 4pm at Griffith College, South Circular Road.
Furthermore, Dublin City Council operates two Recycling Centres in the city. Both centres accept a wide range of materials, including electrical items, free of charge.
It is also worth noting that there is no restriction on the number of household electrical items brought by householders to these centres. These centres are located at;
Pigeon House Road, Ringsend
and
Shamrock Terrace, North Strand
