City Development Board
The Dublin City Development Board (DCDB) is a partnership of key agencies influencing local development in the city. It is an independent board which works under and is supported by the Local Authority. The main aim of the DCDB is to establish a strategy for social, cultural and economic development and to oversee its implementation. This will be a broadly based strategy covering all major services and will be the result of an intensive research and consultation process. Consultation with local communities is a vital form of the process. The Board aims to involve local communities in the process of developing the 'shared vision' for the area.
