Community Media Forum
The Community Media Forum was established following a major Community Media Workshop in early 2001 and at which over 70 organizations and groups were present. The aim of the Community Media Forum is to promote social inclusion, capacity building and respect for diversity in Community Media.
The main objective of the Community Media Forum is to develop a strategy for media of all kinds for and with the people and communities of Dublin, with a particular focus on empowering the socially excluded. On the one hand the Dublin Community Forum informs the Dublin City Development Board’s ten year strategy for Dublin while at the same time bringing together, and working with, numerous communities and their representatives.
