Eurochild Conference - November 2010

The title of this conference was Brighter Futures, Building Effective Partnerships to end Child Poverty.  The conference was attended by around 170 delegates from academic, statutory agencies and practitioner fields.  Two representatives from the Dublin City Childcare Focus Group were funded by Dublin City Community Forum to attend. My mum and dad argue a lot - February 2010

"My mum and dad argue a lot" was a training course, which looked at the effect of parental conflict on children, whether their parents are living together or not. It was organised by Ag Eisteacht and took place in Cork on Wednesday, 3rd February 2010. It was attended by two members of the Dublin City Childcare Focus Group, please see their report on the training course below.

Promoting Parental Skills in Europe - February 2010

The Institute for Social Work and Social Education (ISS) held a conference on Promoting Parental Skills in Europe – Instruments and effects on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th February 2010 in Berlin.
