About:

The Social Inclusion Unit in Dublin City Council was established in early 2000, and is based in Block 4 East, Floor 1 in the Office of the Director of Community and Enterprise in the Department of Housing and Residential Services.

  Social Inclusion - What is it  

The Social Inclusion Unit works to develop the capacity of the City Council to lead the initiative for assessing and promoting policies, projects and developing awareness designed to tackle the cause and effect of social exclusion and disadvantage in the City.

Some of the work includes; The Profile of Households Accommodated by Dublin City Council, Directory of Services for People with Disabilities, providing financial support to many community projects and working to support those most vulnerable in our city.
