In association with Sun Emerald Media and CCTV this beautifully shot film will be screened following the life of this great river from its source high in the Alps to its final destination in the delta of Shanghai.
Wednesday 17th February 3 p.m
Lecture – “China: A Land of Diversity, Its People and Plants.”
Seamus O’Brien, Head gardener at the National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh Arboretum and well known plantsman has travelled widely, taking part in many plant expeditions in China. He is renowned for his interest in the plants and culture of this diverse and wonderful country and will share his Chinese experiences at the talk.
