Closing ceremony
The Irish Chinese New Year Festival Mascot, "Lin Lin the Rat" will officially close the 2008 Chinese New Year Festival. A torch will be lit to wish the Irish athletes good luck and carried out of the carnival into the Dublin night, bidding them and the festival farewell and looking to the future of the Beijing Olympics and the coming Year of the Rat. Special thanks once again to all those who have been involved in this festival.
