We
are a relatively new organisation, formed in 2001. Our home is Arklow, a town
located in South County Wicklow, Ireland, a county called 'the

has an ever increasing population of 9,000 people that is expected to double
over the coming years.
Arklow
Disability Action Group (ADAG) is a local advocacy group, based in
Arklow, dedicated to addressing issues that affect the lives of people with
physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities.
Since
our establishment just four years ago, we have been involved in a number of
local activities related to the issues of disability. Supported by Arklow
Community Enterprise, (ACE) and the local Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA), we
identified a range of issues of concern and established a number of working
groups to explore those issues.
